Spiders show no mercy by beating Hawks by mercy rule 8-0
Spiders win another one despite sleeping through the first period… It wasn’t really until Cullen Tonge came over and cheered us on with “Go Spiders GO” and “what’s he got? Nothing”…Seemingly a coincidence??? He came over and we started to roll
With goals by Denny and a laser shot from Zav we were all of a sudden in business and went on to win 8-0…great clap clap ok that was nice…
But let’s look back at that scoreless first period.. we are traditionally slow starters… thank god Ricky Finns was on his game in the first and held them off the board….
We should definitely get rolling quicker next week…no not should WE HAD BETTER DO IT….or it could be rough…

Lets just put it this way…a high stick height varied between a refs head and higgens shoulders when he was falling on the ground..

The scoring went as follows: We didn’t score in the first period. Eventually we scored 8 they had none. Let’s not be all happy about it, we should have won ….8-0 anything less would have been a disappointment…
